Production of not whole leather of bovine animals in France falls in 2017

European Commission announced that leather production decreased by 7.45 percent in comparison to the same time an year ago. The variable diminished by 64 589 kilogram, versus the previous year when it increased by 7.8%. It's new all-time minimum since 2002. The overall changes for the prior 16 years hit a diminution of 67.14%. Moreover, it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.05 percent over the five years with a marginal overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 815 531.19 kilogram from 2002 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 2 702 326 kilogram in 2010.
