Chromium consumption in Australia: Rise in 2015

Chromium consumption climbed strongly by 40 percent compared to the same time an year ago, according to statistics presented by U.S. Geological Survey. The indicator sharply grew by 2 thousand tonnes, contrarily to the prior year when it decreased by 225%. The overall changes for the previous 13 years reached a decrease of 123.33%. As well as it has shown a diminution at a 0.18 percent average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a sharp overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged -14.22 thousand tonnes from 2003 to 2015 and it attained its all-time high of 45 thousand tonnes in 2004 and record low of -53 thousand tonnes in 2007.
