Sold production of prepared or preserved swine hams in Ireland increases in 2017

According to updated data presented by European Commission, compared with the previous year the indicator climbed by 10.11 percent. Processed meat sold production grew from 47 765 236 kilogram to 52 593 864 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it rose by 15.75%. It's new all-time peak since 2008. Ireland saw a raise of 230.25% in processed meat sold production during the last 10 years. Furthermore, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.07% over the last five years with a modest overall rise since the 2008. It averaged 36 968 363.8 kilogram from 2008 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 15 925 602 kilogram in 2008.
