Import of citrus fruit jams, marmalades, jellies, purees or pastes to Latvia increases in 2017

The indicator strongly went up by 53.93% in comparison with the previous year, according to revised numbers published by European Commission. Sweets spreads import rose sharply from 138 350 Euro to 212 960 Euro, versus the prior year when it dropped by 6.58 percent. It's new all-time high since 2001. The overall changes for the previous 17 years hit a raise of 1 048.65%. Furthermore, it has shown a 0.09% compound annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 68 764.12 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 14 940 Euro in 2002.
