Religious private construction spending in United States decreases in July 2018

According to statistics issued by U.S. Census Bureau, in July 2018 the variable slightly declined by 0.78 percent. Construction spending decreased barely from 256 million US Dollars to 254 million US Dollars, versus the previous month when it increased by 0.79 percent. The previous year, the indicator was falling by -3.16 percent and hit 306 million US Dollars in July 2017. To sum up, the variable was -16.99% smaller in July 2017 than in July 2018. United States saw a drop of 61.92% in construction spending during the last 16 years. Moreover, the construction spending is now smaller than its average which equals 472.3 million US Dollars with a moderate overall decrease since the 2002. It attained its all-time high of 798 million US Dollars in August 2003 and record low of 221 million US Dollars in February 2018.
