Value of direct debit transfers in Russia grows in 2016

Bank for International Settlements published that direct debit transfers value climbed by 5.21 percent in comparison with the previous year. The variable increased from 31.87 billion US Dollars to 33.53 billion US Dollars, versus the prior year when it fell by 34.36%. Russia saw a drop of 87.07% in direct debit transfers value over the past 10 years. Likewise, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.04 percent during the five years with a modest overall decrease since the 2007. It averaged 89.36 billion US Dollars from 2007 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 266.25 billion US Dollars in 2008 and record low of 31.87 billion US Dollars in 2015.
