New vehicles registrations in Egypt: Fall in 2017

According to statistics issued by OICA, compared to the previous year the indicator dropped sharply by 31.46 percent. Vehicle registration strongly went down by 83 099, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 20.48 percent. Egypt saw a raise of 49.05% in vehicle registration over the past 13 years. Though, it has shown a fall at a 0.09% average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a modest overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 243 067.92 from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 349 100 in 2014 and record low of 121 437 in 2005.
