Fuel oil consumption in industry in China: Growth in 2015

In 2015 fuel oil consumption climbed by 10.48%, according to updated statistics released by China National Statistical Office. The variable increased from 2 835.74 ten thousand metric ton in 2014 to 3 133.03 ten thousand metric ton previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 17.13 percent. China saw a rise of 5.31% in fuel oil consumption over the past 16 years. Likewise, it has shown a growth at a 0.07% compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 2 663.9 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it reached its all-time high of 3 570.4 ten thousand metric ton in 2004 and record low of 1 521.53 ten thousand metric ton in 2009.
