Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Barbados declines in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office published that horses import declined sharply by 61.88 percent in comparison with the prior year. Horses import greatly fell by 63 265 US Dollar, compared to the previous year when it increased by 47.62 percent. Barbados saw a rise of 4.04% in horses import over the past 21 years. However, it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.21% during the last 5 years with a modest overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 160 726.29 US Dollar from 1997 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 691 138 US Dollar in 2004 and record low of 36 242 US Dollar in 2012.
