Import of industrial machinery for the manufacture or preparation of confectionery, cocoa or chocolate to Lithuania goes down in 2016

In 2016 food processing equipment import went down by 28.37 percent, updated figures from European Commission display. The indicator dropped by 1 349 740 Euro, compared to the previous year when it grew by 59.63%. Lithuania saw a raise of 416.57% in food processing equipment import over the past 17 years. As well as it has had a 0.41 percent CAGR over the five years with a negligible overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 1 921 784.71 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 7 240 620 Euro in 2013 and record low of 185 310 Euro in 2002.
