Naphtha demand in Belgium: Raise in May 2018

Compared to the previous month the indicator climbed by 9.45%, according to data released by JODI Data. Naphtha demand rose from 381 thousand tonnes to 417 thousand tonnes, in contrast to the prior month when it decreased by 21.12%. In 2017, this fluctuation reached 4.51 percent and the naphtha demand hit 394 thousand tonnes in May of the year before. This highlights a 5.84% variation between May 2017 and May 2018. The overall changes for the previous 9 years attained a growth of 29.5%. Compared with its average, the naphtha demand is now bigger as the mean equals 405.36 thousand tonnes with a sharp overall increase since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 602 thousand tonnes in January 2014 and record low of 255 thousand tonnes in May 2009.
