Naphtha demand in Belgium: Decrease in June 2018

According to numbers presented by JODI Data, in June 2018 naphtha demand diminished by 5.04 percent. The variable fell from 417 thousand tonnes to 396 thousand tonnes, in contrast to the previous month when it increased by 9.45 percent. The prior year, this change hit -11.42 percent and the naphtha demand attained 349 thousand tonnes in June of the year before. Year-on-year, this displays a 13.47% fluctuation between June 2017 and the same month the year after. Belgium saw a growth of 22.98% in naphtha demand during the last 9 years. Furthermore, the naphtha demand is now smaller than its average which equals 405.28 thousand tonnes with a sharp overall raise since the start of time series. It reached its all-time high of 602 thousand tonnes in January 2014 and record low of 255 thousand tonnes in May 2009.
