Import of unagglomerated iron ore and concentrate to United States: Raise in 2017

According to revised figures published by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 the indicator grew sharply by 505 554.98 percent. Iron import strongly went up from 1 104 247 kilogram to 5 583 680 000 kilogram, contrarily to the previous year when it diminished by 99.92%. United States saw an increase of 41.79% in iron import during the last 27 years. Moreover, it has had a rise at a 0.36% CAGR over the five years with a marginal overall decrease since the 1991. It averaged 2 678 808 862.81 kilogram from 1991 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 7 031 694 848 kilogram in 1995 and record low of 1 104 247 kilogram in 2016.
