New vehicles registrations in Belarus: Growth in 2017

According to data released by OICA, in comparison to the prior year vehicle registration increased by 15.46%. Vehicle registration went up by 3 478, compared to the previous year when it declined by 12.79%. Belarus saw a rise of 99.83% in vehicle registration over the past 13 years. Moreover, it has had a 0.02% compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a negligible overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 22 659.85 from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 32 000 in 2008 and record low of 13 000 in 2005.
