Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Hungary: Fall in 2017

According to numbers released by European Commission, yarn import dropped by 28.91% compared with the year before. Yarn import went down from 1 209 600 Euro in 2016 to 859 930 Euro prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it climbed by 95.01%. Hungary saw a decline of 76.45% in yarn import during the last 15 years. Furthermore, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.07 percent over the last 5 years with a slight overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 2 059 740 Euro from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 5 979 300 Euro in 2006 and record low of 620 280 Euro in 2015.
