United Nations Statistical Office published that in comparison to the prior year the indicator greatly rose by 42.7 percent. The variable went up sharply by 884 141.25 US Dollar, contrarily to the previous year when it diminished by 1.75%. Portugal saw a rise of 213.51% in cotton export over the past 30 years. Moreover, it has had an increase at a 0.12% CAGR over the last five years with a modest overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 1 481 269.54 US Dollar from 1988 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 3 436 687 US Dollar in 2011 and record low of 196 659 US Dollar in 2001.
