Petrochemical feedstock interproduct transfers in New Zealand falls in May 2018

Refined oil interproduct transfers went down by 23.08% compared to the month before, adjusted figures from JODI Data illustrate. Refined oil interproduct transfers declined from -13 thousand tonnes to -10 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it decreased by 13.33%. When taking into account the same month the year before, it can be reported that the variable was remaining stable in comparison with April of the same year. When examining the year-on-year situation, a -37.5% decrease can be noticed between May 2017 and the same month in 2018. The overall changes for the previous 9 years attained a rise of 150%. However, the refined oil interproduct transfers is now above average of -13.49 thousand tonnes with a overall diminution since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of -2 thousand tonnes in February 2009 and record low of -33 thousand tonnes in December 2010.
