Home-killed mutton and lamb production in United Kingdom: Growth in 2017

According to figures announced by UK National Statistical Office, the variable slightly grew by 1.96 percent in comparison to one year earlier. The indicator went up negligibly from 307.59 thousand tonnes to 313.62 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 2%. The overall changes for the previous 33 years reached a raise of 3.34%. As well as it has had an increase at a 0.02 percent compound annual growth rate over the five years with a moderate overall decrease since the 1985. It averaged 323.1 thousand tonnes from 1985 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 385.46 thousand tonnes in 1991 and record low of 259.3 thousand tonnes in 2001.
