Import of fresh and chilled edible offal of bovine animals, swine, sheep, goats, horses and other equines to Cyprus goes up in 2017

In comparison with the previous year the indicator rose greatly by 104.78%, refreshed numbers from European Commission show. Meat import grew strongly from 87 800 kilogram to 179 800 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 36.12%. It's the highest number in its history since 2008. The overall changes for the previous 10 years reached an increase of 6 815.38%. Furthermore, it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.63 percent over the 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the 2008. It averaged 42 190 kilogram from 2008 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 2 600 kilogram in 2010.
