Sales of portland cement in Spain: Drop in 2016

In 2016 the variable negligibly declined by 2.06%, according to adjusted numbers announced by European Commission. The indicator went down slightly by 305 510 thousand kilograms, in contrast to the prior year when it went up by 7.65 percent. Spain saw a fall of 43.57% in portland cement sales during the last 22 years. It averaged 31 001 001.18 thousand kilograms from 1995 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 51 919 812 thousand kilograms in 2007 and record low of 13 147 627 thousand kilograms in 2013.
