Import of residues of starch manufacture and similar residues to Sweden: Raise in 2017
European Commission announced that food waste import increased slightly by 4.19% in 2017. Food waste import hardly climbed by 372 210 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 14.26%. The overall changes for the prior 23 years attained a diminution of 38.45%. Moreover, it has shown the compound annual growth rate of 0.05 percent over the last five years with a negligible overall drop since the 1995. It averaged 8 459 135.22 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 21 044 540 Euro in 1996 and record low of 2 955 950 Euro in 2006.
