Import of prepared or preserved apricots to Fiji: Decline in 2016

Processed fruits import went down by 15.53 percent in comparison with the same time an year ago, according to figures presented by United Nations Statistical Office. Processed fruits import dropped from 8 467 US Dollar to 7 152 US Dollar, versus the prior year when it went up by 8.51 percent. Fiji saw an increase of 19.38% in processed fruits import during the last 15 years. Moreover, it has shown a rise at a 0.05 percent compound annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall decrease since the 2002. It averaged 11 501.87 US Dollar from 2002 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 44 126 US Dollar in 2004 and record low of 1 301 US Dollar in 2010.
