Sold production of milk and cream with a fat content not exceeding 1% in immediate packings of a net content not exceeding 2 l in Lithuania: Fall in 2017

According to data presented by European Commission, milk sold production fell by 26.93 percent compared with the previous year. It's the lowest record in its history since 2005 as the variable went down from 436 610 kilogram to 319 038 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 21.89 percent. Lithuania saw a decrease of 94.57% in milk sold production over the past 13 years. Likewise, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.16 percent during the five years with a negligible overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 1 598 969.85 kilogram from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 5 875 085 kilogram in 2005.
