Export of helicopters for civil use from Latvia declines in 2016

In comparison to the year before air transport export greatly decreased by 36.18 percent, refreshed statistics from European Commission indicate. The indicator strongly fell from 910 530 Euro to 581 090 Euro, versus the prior year when it increased by 167.39 percent. The overall changes for the previous 15 years attained a growth of 98.79%. Though, it has attained a decrease at a 0.31% compound annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 581 020 Euro from 2002 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 3 747 900 Euro in 2012 and record low of 49 360 Euro in 2011.
