Export of fortified wine or must from Brazil rises in 2017

The indicator climbed greatly by 74.34 percent in comparison to the prior year, according to updated numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Wine export rose sharply by 1 215 467 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 64.08 percent. The overall changes for the prior 29 years reached a diminution of 26.51%. Moreover, it has shown a 0.21% compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 4 391 666.17 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 17 071 478 kilogram in 1993 and record low of 777 136 kilogram in 2003.
