Export of unmanufactured not stemmed or stripped tobacco from Costa Rica: Fall in 2016

The variable diminished by 25.69% in comparison with the prior year, according to numbers presented by United Nations Statistical Office. It reached its 23-year low as tobacco export decreased by 10 379 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 32.73%. The overall changes for the prior 23 years attained a fall of 82.52%. Furthermore, it has shown a diminution at a 0.07% average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 315 479.7 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it hit its maximum of 3 066 054 kilogram in 1996.
