Import of jams, fruit jellies, purees and pastes to Spain: Growth in 2016

Confectionary import grew by 24.6% in comparison to the prior year, according to data issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Confectionary import went up from 21 028 078 kilogram to 26 200 152 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 37.44%. It's the highest number ever announced since 1989. The overall changes for the prior 28 years hit a rise of 1 451.9%. Moreover, it has shown a 0.12 percent CAGR over the last five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 8 855 318.82 kilogram from 1989 to 2016 and it reached its minimum of 1 688 259 kilogram in 1989.
