Export of copper washers from Sri Lanka falls in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office announced that copper export dropped greatly by 81.98% in 2017. The variable fell sharply from 1 082 US Dollar in 2016 to 195.02 US Dollar prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it rose by 1 703.33%. The overall changes for the prior 13 years attained an increase of 2 066.89%. Still it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.29 percent during the last 5 years with a modest overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 612.31 US Dollar from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 5 310 US Dollar in 2008 and record low of 5 US Dollar in 2009.
