Export of copper washers from Sri Lanka: Fall in 2017

According to adjusted data released by United Nations Statistical Office, copper export went down greatly by 81.98 percent in 2017. The variable strongly dropped from 1 082 US Dollar in 2016 to 195.02 US Dollar prior year, versus the previous year when it went up by 1 703.33%. Sri Lanka saw a rise of 2 066.89% in copper export over the past 13 years. Still it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.29% over the five years with a marginal overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 612.31 US Dollar from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 5 310 US Dollar in 2008 and record low of 5 US Dollar in 2009.
