Export of lumber of coniferous (softwood) wood from Georgia drops in 2017

In comparison with the previous year the indicator greatly went down by 53.99 percent, according to figures issued by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable dropped sharply by 751.03 cubic meter, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 74.18%. It reveals the all-time low since 2007. Georgia saw a diminution of 97.34% in wood product export during the last 11 years. Likewise, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.43 percent during the last five years with a marginal overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 9 467.91 cubic meter from 2007 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 24 063 cubic meter in 2007.
