Import of molasses obtained from the extraction or refining of sugar to Bulgaria drops in 2017

Food ingredient import declined by 14.26% compared with 2016, according to updated figures released by European Commission. The variable diminished from 472 000 kilogram in 2016 to 404 700 kilogram previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it went up by 20.07 percent. Bulgaria saw a decline of 99.06% in food ingredient import during the last 17 years. Moreover, it has attained a diminution at a 0.5% compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 21 636 623.53 kilogram from 2001 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 49 377 400 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 393 100 kilogram in 2015.
