Jet fuel closing stocks in Turkey decreases in May 2018

In comparison with the prior month jet fuel closing stocks barely declined by 0.55%, according to data released by JODI Data. Jet fuel closing stocks dropped hardly from 550 thousand tonnes to 547 thousand tonnes, in comparison to the previous month when it went up by 0.18 percent. In May of the year before, the indicator increased by 0.91% and hit 445 thousand tonnes. To sum up, the variable was 22.92% larger in May 2017 than in May 2018. Turkey saw an increase of 164.25% in jet fuel closing stocks over the past 9 years. Furthermore, the jet fuel closing stocks is now greater than its average which equals 303.75 thousand tonnes with a slight overall growth since the start of time series. It reached its all-time high of 569 thousand tonnes in February 2018 and record low of 79 thousand tonnes in December 2009.
