Import of footwear outer soles and heels of rubber or plastic to Latvia climbs in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that compared to the prior year footwear import rose by 14.79%. The indicator climbed by 386 kilogram, in comparison with the previous year when it dropped by 84.71%. Latvia saw a diminution of 77.7% in footwear import over the past 23 years. As well as it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.29% over the last 5 years with a modest overall drop since the 1994. It averaged 61 180.87 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 196 550 kilogram in 1999 and record low of 2 609 kilogram in 2015.
