Export of signals for rail, tram, water-way and port from Luxembourg: Decline in 2016

Railway equipment export greatly fell by 71.54% in 2016, new numbers from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. The variable dropped sharply from 12 114 kilogram in 2015 to 3 448 kilogram prior year, compared to the previous year when it rose by 231.8 percent. Luxembourg saw a decrease of 92.41% in railway equipment export during the last 18 years. Moreover, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.16% during the five years with a modest overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 45 612.61 kilogram from 1999 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 355 527 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 489 kilogram in 2006.
