Sold production of vodka in Estonia declines in 2016

According to data released by European Commission, compared with the previous year the indicator fell by 6.22 percent. Vodka sold production decreased by 259 825 l, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 23.19 percent. Estonia saw a increase of 59.26% in vodka sold production over the past 17 years. Still it has attained a decrease at a 0.08% compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 5 013 714.65 l from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 6 736 015 l in 2007 and record low of 2 460 000 l in 2000.
