Import of fish fillets, dried, salted or in brine to Austria goes down in 2017

According to refreshed statistics announced by European Commission, in 2017 fish import went down by 24.03 percent. The indicator fell from 1 464 140 Euro in 2016 to 1 112 350 Euro prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it declined by 13.17 percent. Austria saw a raise of 574.64% in fish import over the past 23 years. Still it has shown a fall at a 0.2% average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 1 022 593.91 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 4 127 270 Euro in 2012 and record low of 115 860 Euro in 2000.
