Re-export of fresh cherries from Moldova declines in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that compared with the prior year cherries export fell greatly by 99.87%. Cherries export strongly went down from 14 330 728 US Dollar to 19 066 US Dollar, versus the previous year when it increased by 132.12%. Moldova saw an increase of 492.11% in cherries export over the past 21 years. Though, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.69 percent over the last five years with a slight overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 1 974 879.76 US Dollar from 1996 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 14 330 728 US Dollar in 2015 and record low of 3 220 US Dollar in 1996.
