Crude oil imports in Egypt grows in June 2018

The indicator hardly climbed by 2.83 percent in June 2018, according to data issued by JODI Data. Crude oil imports barely went up by 130.68 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it increased by 115.2%. The previous year, this change attained -2.89% and the crude oil imports reached 4 152.72 thousand barrels the same month in 2017. This displays a 14.51% variation between June 2017 and June 2018. Egypt saw an increase of 835.71% in crude oil imports over the past 16 years. Furthermore, the crude oil imports is now above average of 1 738.04 thousand barrels with a marginal overall raise since the start of observations. It hit its all-time high of 6 962.34 thousand barrels in November 2016 and record low of 72.6 thousand barrels in September 2013.
