Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Belgium: Growth in 2017

According to numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 horses import climbed by 11.05 percent. The variable rose from 4 053 in 2016 to 4 500.94 prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 7.19%. The overall changes for the prior 18 years attained a rise of 184.51%. Though, it has had a decrease at a 0.08% compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 2 271.22 from 2000 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 7 539 in 2014 and record low of 1 078 in 2006.
