Compared with one year earlier flax yarn export negligibly went down by 4.83%, adjusted figures from European Commission highlight. Flax yarn export declined slightly by 11 300 kilogram, versus the previous year when it rose by 41.3%. Germany saw a fall of 78.25% in flax yarn export during the last 15 years. Furthermore, it has attained a diminution at a 0.05% compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 565 600 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 304 000 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 165 600 kilogram in 2015.
