Sold production of chocolates not containing alcohol in Portugal increases in 2017

Chocolate sold production sharply went up by 684.83 percent compared with the year before, according to new data released by European Commission. The variable rose greatly from 124 987 kilogram to 980 941 kilogram, versus the prior year when it dropped by 1.32 percent. It indicates the all-time high since 2010. Portugal saw a rise of 2 922.28% in chocolate sold production over the past 8 years. Likewise, it has had the compound average annual growth rate of 0.6% during the five years with a negligible overall increase since the 2010. It averaged 186 059.38 kilogram from 2010 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 32 457 kilogram in 2010.
