Import of railway fish plates and sole plates of iron or steel to Guyana goes up in 2016

The indicator sharply went up by 2 080 percent in comparison with the prior year, according to adjusted statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. Metal products import climbed greatly by 208 kilogram, versus the previous year when it went down by 95.17%. Guyana saw a drop of 96.89% in metal products import during the last 18 years. Moreover, it has attained a 0.39 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a modest overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 556.28 kilogram from 1999 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 7 000 kilogram in 1999 and record low of 6 kilogram in 2013.
