New vehicles registrations in Singapore: Rise in 2017

According to new data published by OICA, the indicator hardly went up by 2.63% in 2017. Vehicle registration rose barely from 108 061 in 2016 to 110 907 previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 41.83 percent. Singapore saw a diminution of 11.29% in vehicle registration over the past 13 years. Likewise, it has had a raise at a 0.27% compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall decrease since the 2005. It averaged 82 506.62 from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 132 483 in 2006 and record low of 34 111 in 2013.
