Export of folding cartons, boxes and cases, of non-corrugated paper or paperboard from Malaysia rises in 2017

According to data released by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 the indicator grew by 5.5 percent. Consumer goods export climbed by 1 570 286 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 10.68%. Malaysia saw a raise of 2 161.67% in consumer goods export during the last 29 years. Furthermore, it has shown the average annual growth rate of 0.05 percent over the 5 years with a modest overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 21 517 945.79 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 249 117 312 kilogram in 1996 and record low of 1 332 366 kilogram in 1989.
