Import of frozen whole turkeys to Sweden goes down in 2017

According to updated numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office, compared with the previous year poultry meat import fell strongly by 49.25 percent. The variable greatly declined from 386 000 kilogram in 2016 to 195 906.53 kilogram prior year, versus the previous year when it increased by 13.2%. Sweden saw a growth of 4 797.66% in poultry meat import during the last 26 years. As well as it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.56% during the 5 years with a modest overall increase since the 1992. It averaged 73 007.33 kilogram from 1992 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 386 000 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 1 357 kilogram in 2001.
