Coal consumption in transport, storage and post in China goes down in 2015

According to revised figures issued by China National Statistical Office, compared to the previous year the indicator diminished by 11.89 percent. It's new all-time minimum since 2000 as coal consumption dropped by 66.37 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 9.33 percent. China saw a decline of 44.28% in coal consumption over the past 16 years. As well as it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.05 percent during the last five years with a negligible overall diminution since the 2000. It averaged 721.84 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it hit its maximum of 958.34 ten thousand metric ton in 2003.
