Import of essential oils of orange to Madagascar: Growth in 2016

Compared with the previous year the indicator sharply increased by 565.83%, according to revised figures presented by United Nations Statistical Office. Essential oils import strongly went up from 120 kilogram to 799 kilogram, when it remained steady by 0%. Madagascar saw an increase of 176.47% in essential oils import over the past 27 years. Likewise, it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.78 percent over the last five years with a modest overall raise since the 1990. It averaged 211.3 kilogram from 1990 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 1 516 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 1 kilogram in 2002.
