Import of imines to Aruba declines in 2016

According to new data released by United Nations Statistical Office, organic chemicals import greatly decreased by 99.74 percent in comparison with the prior year. It attained its 8-year low as the variable fell sharply from 1 167 kilogram to 3 kilogram, versus the previous year when it grew by 2 382.98%. Aruba saw a diminution of 70% in organic chemicals import over the past 8 years. Likewise, it has attained a fall at a 0.63% compound annual growth rate over the 5 years with a marginal overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 413.5 kilogram from 2009 to 2016 and it hit its maximum of 1 167 kilogram in 2015.
