Export of arrowroot and salep from Cyprus: Fall in 2017

In 2017 export of arrowroot and salep strongly diminished by 98.31%, according to adjusted figures presented by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator greatly dropped by 9 308 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 40.94%. It attained its 29-year low. Cyprus saw a decrease of 99.91% in export of arrowroot and salep during the last 29 years. Besides, it has shown a decline at a 0.66 percent CAGR during the five years with a modest overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 118 959.83 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its maximum of 330 467 kilogram in 1999.
