Commercial vehicles in use in Thailand grows in 2017

According to numbers announced by OICA, compared to the year before the indicator climbed slightly by 3.19%. Commercial vehicles in use hardly rose from 7 561.64 thousand units to 7 802.78 thousand units, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 3.29 percent. It demonstrates the all-time maximum since 2005. Thailand saw a rise of 39.43% in commercial vehicles in use over the past 13 years. Furthermore, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.03% during the last 5 years with a slight overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 6 316.18 thousand units from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 5 097 thousand units in 2006.
