Gas and diesel refinery output in New Zealand goes down in May 2018

According to adjusted figures published by JODI Data, in comparison to the prior month the variable dropped sharply by 48.95 percent. Gas and diesel oil production strongly fell by 70 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it diminished by 5.3 percent. One year earlier, this change reached 20 percent and the indicator attained 210 thousand tonnes the same month the year before. Between May 2017 and the same month one year later, the numbers indicate a -65.24% variation. New Zealand saw a decline of 55.49% in gas and diesel oil production over the past 16 years. As well as the gas and diesel oil production is now lower than its average which equals 160.26 thousand tonnes with a overall growth since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 213 thousand tonnes in October 2012 and record low of 68 thousand tonnes in May 2004.
