Import of prepared or preserved asparagus to El Salvador: Rise in 2017

According to updated statistics announced by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 the variable sharply went up by 81.54 percent. Processed food import strongly grew from 29 256 kilogram to 53 112.42 kilogram, contrarily to the prior year when it went down by 40.01%. El Salvador saw a rise of 174.16% in processed food import over the past 24 years. Furthermore, it has attained the average annual growth rate of 0.03% during the last five years with a modest overall diminution since the 1994. It averaged 56 676.48 kilogram from 1994 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 111 875 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 19 373 kilogram in 1994.
